Janet Fish Project

In art class we learned about an artist called Janet Fish. Janet is a  contemporary American Realist artist. She was born on May 18, 1939. She paints still life  paintings with reflective surfaces. She went to Yale University , Smith Collage and got graduated in  Philadelphia .  In class we had to look at a a couple of bottles and draw them. I learned a couple of different things from this activity. One of the things that I learned was how to shade. I learned that you start from using dark colours and slowly get lighter. I also learned how to draw a bottle in front of another. At the begging of the lesson I didn't know how to draw a bottle but now I do!  After all I was happy with my drawing but not a lot. I think I needed more time to work on it. If I have to share one thing from my experience from this would be colouring in the bottles. I really like how we get to colour it in because we...

Horse riding

One of the other activities that I do outside of school is go horse riding and train my horses. This is one of the most things that I enjoy doing in my free time. I normally do this over the weekends. I train my horse on the beach and then I go horse riding. I find this related to p.e because when I train my horses it considers some running and jogging. This makes my heart beats go faster which is also kind of cosidered as exercising. I also do some challenging things with them. Here is a picture of me going horse riding.

Football

One of the activities that I do outside of school is play football. I play football with my friends and sister around my house. I don't do this more often but for fun. Mostly like 2 times a week. I find this fun and enjoyable but at the same time helpful for me. I think this is good for me because I exercise and do some warm ups befor we began and after we're finished. Football is good for me because I ran around and practice my shooting  and catching skills ( being goaly).

Exercise

Every 2 days I exercise for 2 hour or more. I do different exercises each time. One of the things that I do every week is go jogging. After I come back from jogging I normally do work outs for my body. I think this is really helpful and good for me . It's really good for my health. After each exercise I feel my muscles hurt but I know it's because I worked hard . Here are some pictures of me exercising.

When I'm grown up....

So far in the world theirs lots of pollution. Humans are using Lots of energy and burning fossil fuels . There is going to be a day when we basically run out of everything. When I'm grown up maybe everything is going to change and the way things work. I think that we won't have that much energy that we do now. Maybe we won't be able to have transportation running the way it is. I still hope that we still have transportation by that time. Also people stop polluting and wasting energy. I also think that our houses will look way different then they do now. Maybe we won't be able to live in big houses and we won't have that much electricity. My house might run on 50% renewable enegery and 50% non renewable. The roof might be made of solar panels and that would help.

Excising

February 26 , 2015        Every week I exercise 4 times for 2 hours. I walk for 1 hour or less and then jog the rest. I normally walk and jog for 8 - 9 kilometres. I really enjoy doing this because its good for me and my body. When i jog it makes me feel good from the inside. I have a goal to reach by the end of the month and that is to be able to jog have of the distance. I also like doing this because i enjoy it. Here is a picture of me after i finished. Selfie of me after jogging.

The One And Only Ivan

Today in language arts classed we listened to a story called "The One And Only Ivan". What stands out to me so far is the quote " I am too much gorilla and not enough human". I like this quote because it sounds like he's being honest and he's saying what he thinks about him self.  I also like it because he's happy the way he is. I can't wait to listen to more of this story.
