Janet Fish Project
In art class we learned about an artist called Janet Fish. Janet is a contemporary American Realist artist. She was born on May 18, 1939. She paints still life paintings with reflective surfaces. She went to Yale University , Smith Collage and got graduated in Philadelphia.
In class we had to look at a a couple of bottles and draw them. I learned a couple of different things from this activity. One of the things that I learned was how to shade. I learned that you start from using dark colours and slowly get lighter. I also learned how to draw a bottle in front of another. At the begging of the lesson I didn't know how to draw a bottle but now I do!
After all I was happy with my drawing but not a lot. I think I needed more time to work on it. If I have to share one thing from my experience from this would be colouring in the bottles. I really like how we get to colour it in because we can be creative with our colours and make it look realistic.
