ISTE Standards

Standard 6

I choose standard 6 which is Creative Communicator . Standard 6 is split in 4 parts which makes it more detailed. Standard 6 is about how students communicate and express himself creatively using a variety of platforms , tools , styles , formats and digital media. I thought I might be using this standard in my project because we're doing “battle of the movies”. For my project i'm going to try to use a couple of differents apps to display and share my information. Also i'll try to be creative and make it interesting using my knowledge in technology. So I think this is one of the standards I'll be using gin my project.

6a : Students choose the appropriate platforms and tools for meeting the desired objectives of their creation or communication.

I think for this part of the standard we will use blogger to write our blog posts in. we will write a blog post for each movie.

6b : Students create original works or responsibly repurpose or remix digital resources into new creations.

I don't really think we will use this part of the standard in our project. However we are suing an idea that has been used before for “battle of the books”

6c : Students communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively by creating or using a variety of digital objects such as visualizations, models or simulations.

In our project we will try to use different ways to share our information clearly. Also try to use differents ways .

6d :Students publish or present content that customizes the message and medium for their intended audiences.

I think we will use this part of the standard in our project by using the right and appropriate way to send our message to our audience.
